TOMISIN

SUMMERS

Tomisin Summers is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director whose practice unfolds through TOMILUW: a brand and platform dedicated to the intersection of fashion, art, poetry, and storytelling. Rooted in a background in both Fashion (BA) and Linguistics (MA), T. Summers approaches creativity as a form of translation—transforming abstract concepts of identity, culture, and healing into tangible experiences of design and visual storytelling.

In 2020, she debuted her book, Half Past in the A.M.: A conversation amongst selves, a literary collection of poetry and poetic prose that invites the reader to explore one’s many selves. When it comes to her paintings, Tomisin is fascinated by the fluidity of lines and color, which she uses to illuminate and convey her many curiosities and personal reflections.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, at 17 she moved to America. She currently lives in California with her husband and pets.
